Hello all,
I've looked into the Marc's (to-Suse) patch and the Chris' patch and
I've released the new userfs-0.9.7-pre2 version. You can find it here:
http://www.penguin.cz/~jim/userfs/
It compiles under RedHat 6.1, glibc 2.1.2, kernel 2.2.13. From the
included filesystems only cvsfs, homer, egfs can be compiled. We still
need a cooperation on the other C++ example filesystems.
If someone else has done something using userfs, let me know!
Marc, please test it under SuSe, whether it's alright.
Chris, thanks for the patch. It works, it seems. Ad sigmask_lock: I
didn't study the older versions of kernel now, but I think something's
changed, because afaik I've compiled it without any problem under the
older versions of kernel. In this very last version, I've changed the
sigmask_lock into current->sigmask_lock.
Enjoy, Jim.
