It means the best solution is _usually_ the one which is easiest, if the easiest option comes in the form of an applet, so be it. Command line might be wonderful and powerful etc etc blah de dah, but as the old saying goes "When in gnome, do as the gnomeans do", and if your not in X (ie: cant use the applet) there ain't really a hellava lot to capture anyway. :)
