did that years ago.
makes you crazy after a while.
i then resorted to having it in the root window of the login screen.
did that to all machines in the office, which looks kinda cool:

i just wish i could use xmatrix as a screen lock without running
xscreensaver. i don't want to run a screensaver, i just want to run xlock
but i prefer the style of xmatrix over the one that comes with xlockmore.
