Having waited for ages for a Linux application to load, I suggest a new unit, the MIPE; Meaningless Indicator of Program Efficiency.
This measures is the product of the CPU use percentage and time taken to run an application and is so in a unit of %s, which makes it a real bugger for 'C' programmers to print. A good, efficient program will have a low MIPE value, as it either loads rapidly or at least does not use much CPU while it is initialising itself. A bad program uses all the CPU all of the time, just like some of these blasted bloat apps we're seeing these days. I shall now stick myself in a warm bath, calm down, and think of fluffy bunnies frolicking in clouds until the nice men in white coats come around with my new long-sleeved jacket. Vik :v)
