Could it be bad ram? Try running memtest86 on it for 5 or 10 passes (best done overnight)
It could also be that your machine needs ECC or parity ram. My intergraph needs fast page parity 72 pin simms, which are hard to find. If you want ram guaranteed to work in it, call Michelle at Corporate Consumables, and ask about Hypertec ram. They make the good stuff for all sorts of odd machines, and its much cheaper than HP ram (for example).
