GNUCash still doesn't and it doesn't appear to be in the pipline anytime soon either (and I can't code so I can't help!)
I ended up with two contenders, one being Moneydance and the other is Kapital. Moneydance is java based and in theory portable across platforms but I struggled to get the interface to look any good. There was an issue with fonts etc. and it all got very difficult. I ended up going with Kapital as it had the same functionality and was slightly cheaper at the time. It is also KDE based which given I run SuSE was a plus. Moneydance is at http://www.moneydance.com/ Kapital is at http://www.thekompany.com/home/ Carl Carl Cerecke <[EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] nz> cc: Subject: Personal accounting program 04/10/02 15:05 Please respond to linux-users Hi, Any recommendations for a good personal accounting program for Linux? I want something with good support for recurring transactions (i.e. I want to say "transaction X happens on the nth of every month" etc., and not have to re-enter it all the time) gnucash didn't have this feature last time I looked. Cheers, Carl
