I see that SUSE have now released an iso for their Personal Edition See..... http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=7425
It is not yet at Jetstreamgames but it is on several other mirrors. I wouldn't mind seeing it being installed so I can form an opinion on wether we should promote it more for our Installfest. I hear that it is an easy install and great with hardware detection. Any other opinions? Sorry I haven't been available, but it seems SUSE 9.1 has been available for only about a month now anyway. I'm still happy to give a demo of any length and adjust to the audience's wishes. As it came up a few days ago, I'm also willing to give a 1h procmail intro (with question time), same day or different day. The SUSE demo would concentrate on system aspects which are SUSE-specific, e.g. not mention openoffice. Suggestions/requests welcome. What is the current state of the planning? It seemed from earlier that there was sufficient interest. Volker -- Volker Kuhlmann is possibly list0570 with the domain in header http://volker.dnsalias.net/ Please do not CC list postings to me.
