I can put my computer online too, with thr web interface I want, but whether I really want all my private mail online is something I very much doubt. Combined with serious privacy concerns (thanks Martin for a good summary URL), I'm clearly not interested either in all my private mail being kept by any American company, the difference in privacy matters to some despot dictator country or the Nazis is infinitesimally small these days.
