We've been here before, not that long ago. RUTE has a restrictive license - or at the very least, a badly-worded one.


"Initiating the process" could be seen as "sending an email to someone to request a copy" or "sending a few hundred megs of data to my print spooler".

However, a license is a license. Debian's way of handling such things is to assume the most restrictive interpretation, and examine that. In that light, you can't ask by email for a copy to be printed. However, Debian often forgo things that others accept ...
