In case you're interested in a comparison, I actually have an FX 5200 here in my Athlon 2600+ box. ~$ glxgears 11389 frames in 5.0 seconds = 2277.800 FPS 544 does sound rather low. I read point "3" at the bottom of your initial post, but still feel compelled to ask... have you got anything besides glxgears on which to run a benchmark? A 3D game perhaps? (I'm assuming you had a reason for replacing your old GF2MX card ;) what's the "real" performance like, for the purpose for which you want it? worse than the old card? Cheers, Gareth
