Hey folks, just got my USB 2.0 to IDE adaptor going. I took it out of the 3 1/2 drive box and built a new 5 1/4 box around it that also holds a 5 1/4 swappable IDE docking unit. I have a bunch of large, VFAT-formatted IDE drives in caddies, and as long as I kill off usb-storage (dunno why) in between I can hot swap my IDE drives!
Now perhaps backups will become more frequent ... Vik :v) ---- CAUTION: The information contained in this message is consequential and subject to legacy provenance.
