using fdisk /dev/hda ( in linux ), type p <return> and what comes up in
the  id column for /dev/hda1? I think it should read 7 ( HPFS/NTFS ). Use
the t command to change the type of a partition.

Could someone with a dual boot machine confirm the correct value ( I used
Knoppix on a win 2000 system for that value ).
