One of my latest Linux books was the TY Linux with Caldera OpenLinux CDROM - bought it in 2001. Installed it twice on an old 486, and deleted it twice - it just wouldn't boot after installation. So I wiped it and put OS/2 on instead. Ran, groaned and twitched - but still ran.
