As I don't have one of these modems, I can't test that. If you have done it and 
it works then thats great, but it means their documentation is
broken - perhaps they mean people to think that they have to pay.

Actually the source was as easy to find as the rpm's

I take it you mean scripts/cnxtconfig.in

I can't follow it entirely. But if it works, thats fine. Its not Free as
in Speech though, although we were discussing Free as in Beer :-)
