Hi folks,

We've got a live *nix project up for review and involvement:

Don Gould's 'Community wireless Internet mirror project'

Don will preview his mini-pop server hardware setup, concept, and Woosh wireless link. The server is to facilitate local FOSS installs, through a neighbour-link system (ethernet or wireless).

Don has requested advice on which range of software he needs to keep current throughout the mirror tree he plans to offer into participating attics.

Details:
7.30pm, Wednesday March 1st, Sydenham Community Association Hall, 25 Hutcheson Street, Christchurch.
Tea/coffee provided, donations cover costs.

Install/CDs/fixup help too, + *nix cybercafe plan news.

Regards,
