I am having difficulty getting my MFC-215C to print anything at all whilst under SuSe 9.2.
The drivers for this particular model are still under development by Brother; however the Brother website indicates that it should run using the MFC-210C drivers. I have downloaded the drivers and installed the printer driver under Yast as well as a CUPS wrapper. Under CUPS my printer is visible but every print job aborts. I've checked out the FAQ's and Googled but still have not been able to come up with a solution. I've never used CUPS before and a tweak here or there by someone familiar to CUPS might get me going at least printing off documents. I was wondering if I were to bring the printer and Laptop to the meeting if anyone might be able to offer assistance in attempting to get things working....or offer a few beers and nibbles to anyone who might like to come over to Strowan to give it a go in- situ.
