No - "volume" discount these days is generally a hundred units or more. Educational discount is basically non-existant too.
And to get a "trade" account with someone like TP or Renaissance (yes I can spell that one right :) you have to buy (I think) a minimum of $10k per calendar month. I might buy $50k in January then almost $0/mo till next year. True they have no speakers, but they do have DVI input.
