You use a rescue disk. Preferably the one which you used to install Linux in 
the first place, but if that's no longer available any one will do to edit 
the /etc/fstab file as long as it has drivers for your disk and filesystem. 
For example:-

http://omnibus.uni-freiburg.de/~giannone/rescue/current/     (two floppies)
or
http://www.toms.net/rb/    ( one floppy )
