Today my Kubuntu kernel was updated (Automatically using Adept) but then I had lock-ups at boot time.
Grub had been automatically updated. Eventually I think I have found a "fix". I had GRUB timeout set to 2 and by increasing it to 5 the problem seems to have gone away. Is this expected/common behaviour? Rob
