[298496.564091] ieee1394: Error parsing configrom for node 0-00:1023 [298497.243118] ieee1394: Error parsing configrom for node 0-01:1023 pairs ad nauseam. I've done a bit of doogling and playes around with the suggested options when loading the ieee1394 module, but to no avail. I've also tried accessing ( and loosening the permissions of ) /dev/dv1394/0 and /dev/video1394/0 and /dev/raw1394 to access through, but to no avail. Steve PS. It's a canon mv30, not as above (:
