Mobo models are 95% irrelevant for whether it works well with Linux. Chipsets are critical. If you want to work it out, split the mobo into its components (main, graphics, peripherals, network, etc), find out what chip each of them uses, and start googling. Also, "works with Linux" is next to worthless IMHO. I'd want to know which parts have been tested, and how they have been tested. E.g. people say "Ethernet works fine", and the trouble starts as soon as you try to use it at 1GBit because they didn't think of that.
