So you're saying that the Thinkpad is a refurb??  If so, then the
pricing is even more of a rip-off.   BTW, on most semi-modern laptops
you can easily upgrade the HD and memory yourself.  I know that HPs &
IBM laptops are very easy, as they have a 'door' that opens up for easy
access to the memory & harddrive.
