I am looking at ways to control access to the Internet using a Linux box in a windows
network. I wish to use the Windows User groups in combination with a program like
Squid/Squid Guard.

I have noticed that the Mandrake Installation that I am using (8.1) allows for an LDAP
server to be used for authentication. Has anyone set this up to use Windows 2000
Active Directory.

Is there an easier way? I have not tried this before and I am open to suggestions.
