I have a central syslog server running on Aurora Linux which is based on RH 7.3. This machine is a Sun E250 formerly running Solaris 8. Aurora is worth a look, it's worked flawlessly on my Ultra5 at home too. (running X)

What are your impressions so far comparing AuroraLinux to Solaris 8? I'm just in the process of buying a E250 from Ebay and am concerned about the binary license legal requirement of a Sun Binary license for this type of host.

The only issue I had was during the install, as it didn't like a GUI install. (locks hard) But it's a server, so X wasn't/isn't important on that particular box. I'm not familiar with Sun's license on this, how is it worded?
