I lied...
I got an e-mail from the author of the article and he was perplexed on why it 
wasn't working. So, upon further examination, it seems that the PostScript 
printer driver that came with the HP 2200 printer we have is defective. I 
changed to the PS printer driver for the HP 2100 and joy was heard in 
Mudville. 

I've even setup a Color PDF printer with Samba now, woo f'in' hoo!

PS A SxS is forthcoming. I'm waiting to hear from the author on how much of 
his content I can include in the writeup. If you've got Win 9x clients, his 
method will work fine. If not, theres more work involved with determining the 
correct driver to use.
