There is well known font bug in abiword. I read the FAQ and added the abiword font directory to my XF86Config-4. There are no error messages when X starts up and it lists that font directory in its fonts path. But, abiword complains at startup about the font path and then complains when I try to load certain fonts, then it crashes. So, the question is, is anyone successfully using abiword version 1.02 and if so, how did you get around the font problem?
