I guess IŽd just hack at /etc/hosts and add the right entry to /etc/hosts. Here, I have
127.0.0.1 localhost
However, Red Hat stores this information somewhere under /etc/sysconfig, so youŽll have to edit the appropriate file to fix it permanently.
huh? Editing /etc/hosts works just fine for me on every Redhat box i have.
