I have a GeForce 3 and love it. From what I've seen Nvidia keeps it's drivers current (no they aren't pure open source but they work!). The docs - Readme - is excellent. I haven't used any newer ATI cards under Linux but I have heard their drivers aren't as available for newer cards Matthew Carpenter wrote:
