Well, i'm not having problems with 'make mrproper' & 'make xconfig' anymore. I'm in the middle of 'make bzImage' at the moment, and
things appear to be going well. stupid make.
I'm running make 3.80 and gcc 3.3 w/ posix threads.
I am runing make-3.80 now too. Problem was make-3.80rc2. I'm still using gcc-2.95.3 on this particular (originally, Caldera) box. The others are RH-7.3 or RH9 (all XFS, of course).
