Hi

In my clinet's server when i am doing

#mii-tool

The result is as follows:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# mii-tool
eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD, link ok
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]#

But when i am checking the /var/log/messages, i am
getting the errors as follows:

Aug 30 15:37:50 xserver telnetd[11478]: ttloop: peer died: EOF Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth1 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth2 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth3 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth4 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth5 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth6 Aug 30 15:38:20 xserver modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module eth7

Why i am getting this type of error messages?

Here is the /etc/modules.conf file...

alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias usb-controller usb-uhci
alias eth0 eepro100

Because you most likely have interface files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts for all of those interfaces.
