I would recommend tknotepad (looks, acts, feels like notepad from what I
understand), and Sylpheed.  Outhouse running under Wine can still toast
anything Outhouse or Outhouse Distress can toast.

Try running "Girlfriend", that might fix the "it never goes down"
problem.  Just don't ever upgrade to 'Wife'. ;-)

There are a couple of free CAD programs out there, some read autocad,
but you have to pay to get that little extra (like 79.00 or so).
