I've often said that my wife is gullible pessimist, while I am a cynical optimist, so between us we have all the bases covered. She believes what she is told but expects things to go wrong. I believe that everyone is good, but don't expect them to behave that way. But I like the engineer: The Optimist thinks the glass if half full, The Pessimist thinks the glass is half empty, The Engineer thinks the glass is twice as large as it needs to be!
