I tried ksnapshot.
It seemed to grab the image but wouldn't save the jpg image.
It seemed to save the gif image but I couldn't find it in my directory when
I got done.
Here is the error I got with saving the jpg.
$ ksnapshot
JPEG saving unimplemented.
KSnapshot was unable to save the snapshot
There was no error message with the gif image.
