Same here, with the death of my 8port switch a while back, I am dropped back 
to a 4port hub and a 5port hub until I get a new one.  but the hubs are only 
10mbp.

I notice a considerable loss in network performance, certainly do to using 
hubs versus switches.  how ever at 10mbp, bideo or songs from linux to 
windows is not choppy and vice versa(using samba).
