I seem to remember getting shockwave flash to run on a version that's already 
fairly old (couple of months I think).... the version I was running was 0.9.2 
(as I found 0.9.3 a step backwards in stability)

I've upgraded to 0.9.4 now.  Flash is still a problem but Java is working 
fine.  IIRC the java plugin -may- have to be run as root the first time... 
just wondering if anyone can verify that.
