Perhaps just meaning that the 'increased loss' of freedom gets everyone's
notice at such times. All the other freedom loss through government
policy that increases little by little is not so obvious. But I think the
latter results in more freedom loss over time. Of course, neither are
in anyone's real best interest (Although that is what they typically claim
to be.)

And, I must also ask, what freedoms are lost now? CNN (don't ya just love 'em)
have asked the question, and the people they asked have said that if that
is what it takes, then maybe it will be that way.  But this is NOT the same
thing as it actually having happened.

Still, keep your eyes open!
