In case you haven't checked in a while, sylpheed is well on the way to
becoming the premier mailer.
* There is now a separate sylpheed-claws development effort (bleeding
edge to the max) that is testing new features. The successful ones
are being merged into the base as they become stable.
* Version 0.6.2 now has a more usable address book. Under development
is the ability to use some other common address book formats.
* the filter system is being reworked
* (my favorite) threading on/off for individual folders is almost
ready. I hate the fact that the trash folder is threaded if you have
threading enabled.
* For those of you who can't be without dynamic signatures, that, too,
will be provided
* imap support is being revamped
* news feed stuff (I don't use) is also getting its share of
attention.
