I believe that's what happened. When I noticed I wasn't getting any hits from the list I got no answer. Same for test messages. Assumed the hardware had failed and waited to be notified when it went back up, although I did send an occasional test message. I wasn't until last week that I found out from someone on the Caldera list that the list was back up, but that I needed to resubscribe.
