I'm running Mandrake 8.0 and have a minor hassle with editors; For text only
work I'll use kedit, or kwrite. I set this system up for kde (Thinking I was
a newbie), but got fed up with it because I judged it to be bloatware with
too many bells and whistles, and S L O W on this pc anyhow. I now usually use
IceWm, and I get 3 copies of kedit every time I open it. They all come up
with a file %c in the taskbar, and './root/%u - %c', './roor/%m - %c' &
'./root/%i - %c' in the heading (the blue bar bit at the top). Every other
program is fine (e.g. kword). In kde I only get one copy of kedit, and the
fonts are tiny. In Icewm, the kedit fonts are HUGE. This wasn't always the
case, so is not a generic Icewm problem AFAIK.

For those who don't know Mandrake, assume it's Red Hat. The KDE and Kedit
versions are 2.1.1; The Icewm is 1.0.7-4. Any ideas (he asks hopefully)?
