Just got around to answering this. I have no clue, and I'm not
familiar enough with SuSE to guess wisely. My only recommendation is
to run Netscape with the console redirected to a file so you can see
what, if any, error messages the mail sending process generates.
Locate Netscape.ad and change resource "*useStderrDialog:" to
"False", which will cause error output to go to Netscape's terminal,
then restart Netscape from that terminal. Perhaps this will reveal the
problem.
