Yes, I know they have gone away from the Red Hat way of starting X, for
example. I was on crashtesters and got it even worse. I believe they have
better intentions now. I got off the list after being on for 1.5 releases
without ever getting a single cd from them to test. They sent them to the
states to post them by surface mail to Ireland because it was cheaper. All I
ever got was promises. I did get xtart out of them (intro below). They have
civilised it, but I have the old version. To get that out of them, I copied
and pasted their 'welcome' notice back to the list and really twisted a
particular arm. They tell me it's quite popular in the distro. Here it is

And this was my situation, and the 'weird-assed window managers' was a line
from one of my teenagers. I have since settled on Icewm. But I get the choice
every time with this.
