As a printing medium on Linux CUPS is way ahead of anything else. However having said that yes it does have problems with *some* older printers not having drivers. Also i have discovered that its a total *dog* on my Suse 7.3 which still wants to load std lpd rasther than cups like all other distros.. When I choose otherwise I have more problems than Moby Dick with printing. -- Keith Antoine aka 'skippy' 18 Arkana St, The Gap, Queensland 4061 Australia PH:61733002161 Retired Geriatric, Sometime Electronics Engineer, Knowall, Brain in storage _______________________________________________ Linux-users mailing list Archives, Digests, etc at http://linux.nf/mailman/listinfo/linux-users
