Can I just mention a few things that might assist you getting help and acceptance here. 1. Bottom post, not top post. This can be a controversial subject but is summed up by by the following: A: because it disturbs the natural flow of conversation Q: why is top posting frowned on? It's not a universally accepted rule, but the more technical the mailing list, the more often you are expected to bottom post. You won't run foul of anyone by bottom posting, but you will by top posting. 2. Don't reply and change the subject - it interrupts the threading, especially for those using gmail. 3. Stick to one subject per thread, ie if you have two problems post two messages. This avoids confusion. I know you only had one problem, but someone interpreted it as two and you can see the results (at least 5 separate threads, and no you weren't responsible for all the subject changes). Cheers, and welcome agan!
