Yup, still here - just compiling the x48 emulator for the HP 48G ... done. Thinking of which, it's almost a bit scary to see that compiling the emulator doesn't take all that much longer than it takes the original HP 48 hardware to add two integers - ok, ok, I may be exxagerating slightly but you do get the idea. But then the greatness of the HP 48 series was never really about the fastest execution speed, but rather about a long-lasting nice-feeling piece of hardware packed with feature-rich software (and HP have done well in this regard with other devices, too - still remembering the old HP 95 LX PDA, with Lotus 1-2-3 in ROM! Brutally effective and useful). But as the latter was running some version of DOS (3.20?), I am now seriously getting off topic... time to go!
