About the "blue people" bug see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/968647 It has something to do with the latest flash 11.2 and nvidia proprietary drivers, so if you don't have nvidia it doesn't affect you.
