Hi all,
Getting desparate on this problem.. Yesterday I finally got mysql
running on a new ptn/installation and after t/f a database from a full
ptn. I did a clean shutdown last night, but this morning mysql would not
start.
Now trying with 'mysqld --skip-grant-tables' but this goes into an
endless loop with the msg
' [ERROR] mysqld: Can't lock aria control file
'/var/lib/mysql/aria_log_control' for exclusive use, error: 11. Will
retry for 30 seconds' and
' Got error 'Could not get an exclusive lock; file is probably in use by
another process' when trying to use aria control file
'/var/lib/mysql/aria_log_control'
Been studying Mysql documentation and Google until my eyes are square
but no help there.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
