An updated version of the Linux Unicode-HOWTO is at
ftp://ftp.ilog.fr/pub/Users/haible/utf8/Unicode-HOWTO.html
List of changes:
* New section about printing.
* Section "Display setup":
- New section about TrueType fonts.
- xterm is now in version 140/#10.

again the old ISO-8859-1 font.
- Correction: The ClearlyU font is 17 pixels high, not 12.
* Section "Locale setup":
- Recommend to call localedef with a full pathname argument, otherwise
it creates a locale which doesn't work with XFree86 4.0.1.
* Section "Specific applications":
- Mention the Mozilla browser.
- Mention the w3m browser.
- vim 6.0b has good UTF-8 support.
- mined98 now has improved UTF-8 support and menus.
- xedit has UTF-8 support since XFree86-4.0.1.
- Mention exmh.
- groff 1.16 is now released, with UTF-8 output support.
- less-358 has UTF-8 support and needs no special option or
environment variable in order to activate it.
- Mention the lv file viewer.
- Updated status for at, basename, chgrp, chmod, chown, chroot, cksum,
cp, date, dd, df, diff, dirname, du, echo, env, expr, false, find,
gzip, hostname, id, ln, logname, ls, mkdir, mkfifo, mv, nice, nohup,
pathchk, printf, pwd, rm, rmdir, sleep, stty, sum, tar, tee, test,
touch, true, tty, uname, wc, who, xargs.
* Section on Programming:
- Mention the ustring C++ library.
- Mention LispWorks Common Lisp.
- Add a second URL for ICU; they have their API documentation nicely
hidden in the website.
- Mention ICU in the section about character set converters as well.
- libutf8 is now in version 0.7.3.
- Python 1.6 was renamed to Python 2.0.
