I cannot just put anything I like into an ISO document, I do agree
with you on that. But I am allowed to put text into the document if
it is agreed by WG20. WG20 does not have to agree with every
word I write in the first place, the procedure is that we agree
on the functionality and then I write up something to cover that,
and the editing group can then discuss this.
I said it would be an ISO specification, not an ISO standard.
I am painfully aware of that. But an ISO TR is still an ISO specification.
