Hi!

I just got a new Logitech USB QuickCam Pro Notebook for me.
Under windows it works flawless ;-)
Now I want to get it done under Linux.
My system is a amd64 debian sarge/etch/sid mix with 2.6.17 kernel.
I grabbed the debian source package for UVC (0.1.0-1) and built a module.
After loading the module, usbview finds the usb cam and tells me
everthing is OK.
But how to go on?
xarv tells me error, camstream tells me nothing,...
How can I get a picture or a stream?
Even the ffmpeg -vd /dev/video0 -s 640x480 -r 5 -b 5000 -y -vcodec mpeg4
- -f avi - | mplayer -
does nothing, it keeps at 0%.

Anyone got a tip for me?

MfG,
Lars Schimmer
