No, the patches will have to be updated for the latest driver revision.

That's very unlikely. The patches you are referring to are a quick&dirty hack 
to work around the problem. They help some users and are completely 
ineffective for others. There is currently no known way to fix the problem. 
It would require in-depth analysis with a hardware USB2.0 analyser.
